County Air Ambulance
County Air Ambulance's main business is to support the provision of airborne emergency medical services in the Midlands. Operating as a charity, the firm deploys a fleet of air ambulance helicopters across an area of 8,000 square miles and 11 counties.
Carrying out approximately 2,000 missions each year, County Air Ambulances has completed in excess of 25,000 rescues since it began operations in 1991.

However, as a registered charity, its operational costs are funded by charitable donations, so it is vitally important for the service to know it has a bank that can maximise returns on those finances.
Bank of Scotland Corporate has provided that support with a range of deposit solutions that offer both value and a unique approach to the charity's very specific banking requirements.
"The deposit rates were extremely attractive," explains Arthur Worthington, Administrator for County Air Ambulances, "but Bank of Scotland Corporate offered much more than that. The nature of our finances requires security and a high quality of service - the Bank's credibility was evident both in their approach and within the marketplace."
Associate Director Laura Williams, County Air Ambulance's main point of contact at the Bank, was keenly aware of the charity's need for specialist support. "We had to really prove that our service was as good as we said and give them that peace of mind,"
explains Laura. "Our expertise had to assure faster, higher quality support that would make the very most of their donated funds."
That expertise has not been lost on Keith. "Laura is excellent", he says. "She always responds promptly and efficiently to any queries and passes information on about rates and our current position.
"We asked around about Bank of Scotland Corporate before making a decision, as we are not the sort of organisation that leaps from one bank to another," he continues. "The fact we ended up investing with them is indicative of the quality of response we got."
